Decide how you would like to get paidand present those options to your buyers, so they can decide whether they are capable to join the deal or not.

Bank transfer

Bank transfer is one of the most popular ways of paying for goods or services. It is both flexible in how it works but also secure. Standard bank transfer payments are not instant. It takes 1-3 business days for a payment to clear into your bank account.

 

If you choose to use bank transfer payment method you must contact your buyers via emailand provide all the necessary information.

Email should contain:

 

 

  • Your company name (company name and address)
  • Bank BIC number (for example: BIC: INGBNL2A)
  • Bank account number or IBAN (for example: NL96INGB0004733929)
  • SWIFT number (only required for international payments)
  • Bank address (where you have your account)

 

Credit card

In this beta version, credit card payment directly from our website is not yet integrated and supported. You can however accept credit cards, if you have the ability to process the credit card payments yourself. You have to have your own merchant account with your bank and virtual terminal solution in order to accept credit card payments.

 

If you choose to accept credit cards you must contact your buyers via email and provide all necessary instructions and information. We however encourages sellers and buyers never to disclose credit card number, CVC code and expiration date to each other (in an email or by phone). Instead use verified third party payment processing solutions.

Accepting credit cards

There are two ways to accept credit cards. To do so, you will have to create your own official website and link it.

 

 

1. Use your own merchant account

 

To do this, you will need a bank that will allow you to open a merchant account. Check with your local banks for more information on this.

 

Advantages: Lower transaction fees.

Disadvantages: Higher initial costs to open the merchant account.

 

 

2. Use third party merchant account (payment gateways)

 

There are numerous companies that are willing to accept credit cards payments on your behalf in exchange for various fees and percentages. These are also known as "payment gateways".

 

  • Google wallet
  • Paypal
  • Skrill (MoneyBookers)

 

Advantages: Lower or none initial cost when setting up a merchant account.

Disadvantages: considerably higher transaction fees.

 

PayPal

PayPal is an easy, secure and smart way to get paid and probably the best option for you. It enables you to collect payments form your buyers.

 

Payment options:

credit cards,

debit cards,

bank account

buyer PayPal account

 

Email payments:

PayPal offers an email payment option with which you can request payment from your customers and accept credit cards, bank, and PayPal payments online. You don't need a website to use this service. Simply email your customers a payment request that they can pay with one click.

 

How to use PayPal as a paying method:

Sign up with PayPal and create a business account.

Choose that you accept PayPal as a paying method in your listing.

When the deal is closed successfully, send an email payment request to all your joined buyers to collect money, or send your email address to which the PayPal account is linked.

Receive payment on your PayPal account.

Ship your items.
